"Namaskar"( I bow to the divine in you)
In the west, early European Orientalists originally reviled Tantra as a subversive, antisocial, licentious and immoral force that had corrupted classical Hinduism. On the other hand many today see it as a celebration of social equity, sexuality and the body.
Through
the practice of yoga, students learn to awaken their spiritual power ,which
the Hindus name the Kundalini, the Muslims as the Ruh and in the bible it
is described as the Holy Ghost.
This energy
in its "unawakened" state is lying dormant and unused.at the
bottom of the spine.Through daily Yoga and meditation this natural energy
is tapped into and released to create a complete balance on the physical,
emotional, mental and spiritual state of the practitioner who is then
said to be "enlightened" or" awakened".
To practice
yoga and meditation is to understand the integration of all religions
and spiritual paths not at a mental level, but through a direct, tangible
experience on the central nervous system.
Living in
the modern world, with it's stresses and pressures takes it's toll on every
human being and is at the root of many of our "dis-eases".Yogi
Nirmalendu, offers you a guide to a longer and healthier physical life
as he puts to use the ancient methods of Kundalini Yoga, put down in the
ancient Scripture of Patanjali.
Yogi Nirmalendu
keeps a busy schedule teaching the techniques of Yoga from his centre
in Glasgow and his seminars around the U.K. At present he has published
a book "The
Serpent Power" documenting his experiences in Kundalini Yoga
over the last 30 years. This book is available from Waterstones and Boarders
